A variation of the existing Inmarsat Mini-M Spot Beam service, M4 is a more capable "dataphone" allowing voice, fax, data and video conferencing transmission capability up to 64 Kbps (or 128 Kbps) in a small footprint. 

M4 is ISDN capable and can be configured at different data rates to your specific needs. It allows remote connection of your Local or Wide Area Network (LAN/WAN). Using the latest in electronic design, it offers a new form factor in size and convenience. Basic configurations offer small physical dimensions and weight for easy transportability. 

Available now are terminals made by "Thrane and Thrane" and "Nera." Depending on your application different accessories are available to transform these light, compact systems to portable offices.
